  1. Day 1 Arrival in London and Panoramic City Tour

    This morning make your way to your central London hotel (group transfers available from Heathrow dependent on your arrival time). Your tour begins from 2:00 pm when you meet your tour director and set out on an introductory tour through the heart of this thriving city. Your panoramic journey will take you past some of the world's most recognisable landmarks including Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Big Ben. This evening you join your tour director and travel companions for a welcome drink.

  2. Day 2 Open Top Bus Tour and London at Leisure

    Today is yours to enjoy a full day of independent sightseeing - ready with your included London Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour tickets your can choose from a number of different circular city bus routes and enjoy a walking tour and a cruise on the River Thames. During the day you may choose to visit one or more of London's magnificent Royal palaces, historic sites or a host of galleries or museums.

  3. Day 3 Windsor Castle and Bath

    Departing London we head for nearby Windsor for a brief panoramic tour of this historic town before visiting Windsor Castle itself. One of the Queen's official residences, Windsor is the largest inhabited castle in the world and played host to the 2018 wedding of Prince Harry’s and Meghan Markle. We'll enjoy some free time for lunch before continuing to historic Bath. Here we'll visit the Roman Baths for a tour to discover why these hot mineral-rich springs have been popular since Roman times.

  4. Day 4 Cotswolds Driver and Shakespeare's Birthplace

    Our journey today takes us over the gentle rolling hills of the Cotswolds, renowned for its quintessential English villages of honey-coloured thatch cottages; we'll pause in one of these picturesque villages. Then onwards to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit Shakespeare’s birthplace where we'll see an exhibition about his life and works set in his historic childhood home. By afternoon we continue north to the bustling city of Liverpool famous home of the Beatles and plenty of pop-music heritage. Your evening is free to dine independently.

  5. Day 5 The English Lake District and Scottish Evening

    Continuing North we pass through the beautiful scenery of the Lake District, a region that inspired artists and poets alike including Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. We'll embark on a cruise along Lake Windermere, England’s largest natural lake. Later we'll pass over the border in to Scotland; we'll pause at the Famous Blacksmiths Shop in Gretna Green before travesing teh rolling hills of the Scottish lowlands on route to Edinburgh. Thies evening we'll enjoy a traditional dinner and ceilidh at your hotel in Edinburgh.

  6. Day 6 Scone Palace and Blair Athol Whiskey Distillery

    This morning we enjoy a panoramic tour of Edinburgh passing through the gracious, avenues of the 200-year-old Georgian New Town before taking in the Royal Mile where rambling medieval houses reach 11 storeys tall. Then we enjoy a visit to Edinburgh Castle, which dominates the city skyline and is home of the Scottish Crown Jewels. The balance of the day is free for you to explore and soak up the city's sights independently. For departures between August 7 – August 21 you'll also enjoy reserved seats for the spectacular Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

  7. Day 7 Tour Ends and Return Home

    This morning you can enjoy a final breakfast in your hotel before your tour ends at your hotel. You can make your way back to Edinburgh Airport for your return flight to your home nation (fixed time group transfers available). Alternatively make your way onwards to other destinations in the UK or return to London by rail.
