  1. Day 1 Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and Fort William

    Landing in Edinburgh Airport, you’ll be greeted by your local private driver guide who will chauffeur you into Scotland’s enigmatic countryside. You’ll enjoy your first flavour of Scotland’s raw natural beauty as you pass along the banks of Loch Lomond and through the scenery of the Trossachs National Park. Later you’ll cross the desolate and awe-inspiring Rannoch Moor before passing through the magnificent Glencoe valley - your driver will know all of the best photo-stops and hidden gems to ensure you get the very best of this epic journey. By afternoon head to your hotel to soak up the Highland atmosphere and views before enjoying your included evening meal.

  2. Day 2 The Road to the Isles, Glenfinnan and Portree

    Today you’ll pass Ben Nevis, Britain’s tallest peak, and the lively town of Fort William to travel the "Road to the Isles". Your driver will pause at Glenfinnan so you can see the Glenfinnan Monument dedicated to Bonnie Prince Charlie and the magnificent Glenfinnan viaduct, made famous in the Harry Potter movies. After crossing by ferry to the Isle of Skye, you can perhaps stop at Armadale Castle and the Clan Donald Centre before reaching the main town of Portree. After checking in to your hotel you can take time to explore the harbour lined by colourful fisherman’s cottages and perhaps try one the fantastic seafood restaurants.

  3. Day 3 The Isle of Skye

    Today your driver will take you on a guided journey around the stunning Isle of Skye. To the North you’ll discover the Trotternish Peninsula with its natural features such as “Kilt Rock” and “the Old Man of Storr”. Wildlife is in abundance, in the coastal waters you can spot seabirds, dolphins and seals. Perhaps stop at Dunvegan castle, home of the Macleod Clan, the Museum of Island Life and nearby Flora Macdonald's Grave before having a tour of one of Scotland’s most famous Whiskey Distilleries; Talisker. After a few drams you’ll be taken back to your hotel for your evening meal.

  4. Day 4 Eilean Donan Castle, Plockton & Loch Ness

    This morning, we’ll leave the Isle of Skye, crossing back to the mainland via the Skye Bridge and visit one of Scotland’s icons at Eilean Donan Castle which stands at the point where three lochs meet. Your driver will then take you off the beaten track to stop for a spot of lunch in the tropical Plockton, ‘the jewel of the highlands’, a sheltered bay lined with palm trees offering breath-taking scenery and panoramic seascapes. By afternoon you’ll pass along the windswept banks of Loch Ness where you can pause for a cruise on the loch or make a visit to the weather-beaten ruin of Urquhart Castle which offers the perfect loch-side look-out. Arrive at your hotel in the capital of the highlands, Inverness, for your evening meal.

  5. Day 5 Inverness - Capital of Highlands

    Today you have free time to explore Inverness independently. This charming highland city straddles the banks of the river Ness offering tranquil riverside walks or the opportunity to explore the old town home to the cobbled Mercat Cross, the 18th century Old High Church and St Andrews Cathedral. Discover the highland shopping, the Victorian market hall bustling with craft stalls or the hill-top castle and museum offering art and historic exhibitions. You have an array of bars and eateries to enjoy your evening here.

  6. Day 6 Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns & Beef Farm

    This morning you’re collected by your driver once more. First stop today will be the eerie Culloden Moor Visitor Centre, site of the ancient battlefield where the Jacobite army rose against the English. Also nearby are the intriguing standing stones of the Clava Cairns which inspired the Outlander series. By afternoon we continue south in to the heart of Scotland and through the hills of the Cairngorm National Park where you will have a tour of a prize winning highland beef farm with an premium Scottish lunch.

  7. Day 7 Exploring Royal Deeside

    Today your driver will take you on a journey through the charming Royal Deeside region. This morning you may choose to stop at the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve for a quintessential countryside walk alongside the birds and otters, or perhaps the cascading waterfalls of Feugh and see the salmon climbing against the rapids. Pause at one of a host of highland towns such as Braemar or Ballater of visit one or more of the ancient castles and baronial manors of the region, each with an intriguing history. Not to be missed is a visit to the royal residence of the Queen herself at the Balmoral Estate.

  8. Day 8 Dunottar Castle, St Andrews and Stirling Castle

    Today your driver will take you past the “Granite City” of Aberdeen for a photo-stop at the glorious ruins of Dunottar Castle before heading down the East coast. Pause in St Andrews to visit this charming town home to Scotland’s oldest university, ancient cathedral ruins and the World’s most famous golf course. Finally, head for Stirling where you can visit the towering Wallace Monument erected in dedication to the Great Scottish Hero "Braveheart" William Wallace and explore the cobbled old town to Stirling Castle which was once the Royal Seat of Scotland.

  9. Day 9 Kelpies, Rosslyn Chapel & Edinburgh

    Our final guided day takes us to central Scotland’s attractions old and new. Heading for Edinburgh perhaps make stops to see the modern but enigmatic sculpture at the Kelpies or the engineering wonder of the Falkirk Wheel which lifts canal boats 100 feet in the air. On Edinburgh’s South side you’ll enjoy a stop at the enchanting site of Rosslyn Chapel which was made famous by Dan Brown's novel and movie the Da Vinci Code and harbours a long and mysterious history. Arriving into Edinburgh your guide will take you to your hotel and bid you farewell.

  10. Day 10 Edinburgh - Scottish Capital

    The final day of your trip can be spent independently discovering the magnificent city of Edinburgh, best explored on foot and public transport. From the winding streets of the cobbled old town to the wide avenues of the opulent Georgian Edinburgh holds a unique atmosphere. Visit Royal sites such as the Palace of Holyrood House or the Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith Docks. The highlight of your day will be climbing the Royal Mile to the city's centrepiece at the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, home to the Scottish Crown Jewels. End your vacation in style with a 5 course dinner show inclusive of traditional music, dancing and poetry.

  11. Day 11 Tour Ends in Edinburgh

    Your Scottish journey comes to an end. Enjoy your breakfast then after checking out of your hotel make your way back to either Glasgow or Edinburgh Airports to check in for your return flight,; or continue your journey across other British countries - England or Wales.
