On the coast we’ll pause to visit Harlech village and Harlech Castle - one of Edward I’s masterpieces of medieval military architecture and part of a set of similar castles which that ring the north Wales coastline, Harlech perches on a rocky precipice over-looking the Irish Sea. By afternoon we return for free-time in Aberystwyth.
