Starting: Central London
  1. Day 1 London Arrival, Salisbury and Stonehenge

    Landing in Heathrow or Gatwick airport, your private driver will be waiting for you to collect you. You'll be whisked out of London and into the magnificent English countryside. First stop will be the historic city of Salisbury a charming town which is home to cobbled streets, market squares and Britain’s tallest cathedral spire which also houses Europe's oldest working clock and a copy of the original Magna Carta. After time to explore we'll head out on to the eerie Salisbury Plain to make our way to the iconic standing stone circle of Stonehenge. Alternatively, if you'd prefer your driver can take you to the lesser known but equally enchanting Avebury Stone Circle where you can be immersed and walk in amongst these mysterious standing stones. Finally, you continue to the elegant city of Bath; here your driver will leave you to spend the evening independently exploring the city’s boutique and classy eateries and bars.

  2. Day 2 Historic City of Bath

    This morning, you'll be collected from your hotel by your guide to enjoy a short journey to the quaint village of Lacock; here you can explore the Fox Talbot museum and its impressive Abbey, unchanging for hundreds of years. You will definitely recognise both the village and Abbey from films such as Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter. By afternoon you will return to Bath where your guide will accompany you on a stroll around the wonders that the historic city of Bath has to offer. Immerse yourself in the architectural highlights including the Elizabethan Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and the Royal Crescent. Once you have your bearings you can explore independently abd visit the spectacular Roman Baths (admission included) and Pump Room parts of which date back to the 1st century AD.

  3. Day 3 Cotswolds Countryside and Farming Experience

    Today, with your driver, you will embark on a journey to discover the quintessential English countryside of the Cotswolds. You'll see the hidden gems of this region pausing in one or more of a host of chocolate-box villages with eccentric names such as Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold. Home to picturesque villages, elegant manor houses, historic abbeys, dreamy gardens and grand palaces, the Cotswolds has something to offer for everybody. By afternoon you'll be invited on to a local family farm for a unique Cotswold Experience; perhaps try your hand at traditional farming activities such as stonewalling or hedge weaving, enjoy an interactive sheepdog or falconry experience or simply indulge in a cottage high tea, local cheese tasting or ale trail - you’re not driving after all!

  4. Day 4 Shakespeare's Stratford and Cotswolds Experience

    After you driver collects you this morning you head North to the edge of the Cotswolds to arrive in the hometown of a literary legend; Shakespeare. Explore Stratford-upon-Avon, a picturesque, medieval town of Tudor timberwork buildings, open greens and boats bobbing on the river Avon and a wealth of heritage sites dedicated to the town’s most famous resident William Shakespeare. Be transported back in time and be immersed in the history of Shakespeare by visiting his preserved childhood home made complete by actors and narrators. By afternoon we head back to the Cotswolds where you will have the treat of a unique experience; choose from an exclusive Cotswolds gardens tour, perhaps some countryside horse riding or even a private sunset hot air balloon ride for unspoilt views across the heart of England.

  5. Day 5 Blenheim Palace and Academic Oxford

    Departing the Cotswolds, stop off at Blenheim Palace; known for its connections to Winston Churchill; witness his childhood bedroom and explore the magical award winning gardens. After admiring the tapestries and portraits within the 300 year old historic building, we will head to the nearby city of Oxford. Here you’ll enjoy the college quads and spires of the world-renowned Oxford University. Soak up the unique academic ambience which once inspired the likes of Tolkien, CS Lewis and Oscar Wilde and explore the famous colleges such as Magdalen and Christchurch or the Bodleian Library and New College Hall used as parts of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter movies, even take a punt on the river Thames. After packed day your driver will take you to the capital city of London where he will leave you to explore independently.

  6. Day 6 London - The English Capital

    Today you are free to explore London at your own leisure. Using your London Pass and public transport, discover the city’s renowned attractions from Westminster Abbey to the Tower of London, from the London Dungeons to Madam Tussaud's. This magnificent city is a thriving metropolis with a vibrant modern culture and rich history and heritage. Culture vultures will delight in some of the world’s most prestigious museums and galleries including the Tate Modern, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Museum. Visit Whitehall and Downing Street where you can explore the nearby Churchill’s Cabinet War Rooms exhibition, or you may decide to see the city from the river on a Thames cruise to the famous London Bridge. Wander the famous South Bank or indulge in some world-class shopping opportunities at Oxford Street, Covent Garden and the West End.

  7. Day 7 Tour Ends and Return Home

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Time-permitting you may continue to explore the many sights of London before your private transfer will collect you from your hotel and return you back to the airport for your onward flight.
