  1. Day 1 Windsor Castle and Bath City

    This morning we depart the British capital and journey to the nearby historic market town of Windsor, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married in 2018. Later, we continue West to the stately Georgian town of Bath, home to the beautiful Pulteney Bridge and 15th-century Gothic Abbey. We'll visit the ancient Roman Baths and visitor centre before travelling to vibrant Bristol, where we'll enjoy an orientation of the city including views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Brunel's SS Great Britain, the world's first ocean-going luxury liner.

  2. Day 2 Longleat Stately Home and Lacock Village

    Today we embark on a scenic drive through the English countryside. Our first stop is the imposing Longleat House, where we'll embark on guided tour one of the country's finest stately homes and residence of the 7th Marquess of Bath; we'll see opulent rooms and priceless collections of art, antiques and tapestries. Later, we stop in the picturesque village of Lacock an historic market town whose cobbled streets, honey-coloured cottages and 15th-century inns have featured in TV and film productions such as 'Pride & Prejudice', 'Harry Potter' and Downton Abbey.

  3. Day 3 Buckfast Abbey and Plymouth

    Today we pass West in to the coastal county of Devon; first stop will be the fishing town of Brixham where Sir Francis Drake's ship Golden Hind is permanently moored. We'll enjoy free time to explore before our included lunch of local cuisine. Later we continue to Buckfast Abbey where we gain insights into how Benedictine monks have lived and prayed for nearly 1,000 years. Our final destination is the port of Plymouth where pilgrims once left English shores for an unknown new world. This evening is either free to dine independently in Plymouth.

  4. Day 4 The Cornish Peninsula and Tintagel Castle

    Today we'll explore the Cornish Peninsula; firstly we'll gain views of the magnificent St Michael's Mount, a tidal island off the coast with a 17th-century castle dramatically perched atop. Then we continue to lovely St. Ives, a popular retreat for artists, surfers and sun-worshippers. In North Cornwall we pause at Tintagel Castle, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, and admire its rugged clifftop vantage point overlooking the wild Atlantic. Our final destination today is the principal town of Devon; Exeter is home to a medieval centre which is yours to explore on your own this evening.

  5. Day 5 North Devon and the Dartmoor National Park

    This morning we visit Exeter Cathedral with its 15th-century astronomical clock and misericords, said to be the earliest complete set Britain. Then we pass north stopping at the Somerset village of Dunster for free-time for lunch and an opportunity to see the castle. By afternoon we visit the charming town of Lynmouth before driving through the brooding landscape of Dartmoor National Park. We'll stop at a traditional pub for a memorable farewell dinner before returning to Exeter for our final night.

  6. Day 6 Stonehenge and Historic Salisbury

    This morning, we return East over the Salisbury Plain to visit the ancient monoliths at Stonehenge. We'll visit the stone-circle and intriguing visitor centre which tries to unravel the mysteries of this ancient site. The onwards to nearby Salisbury, home to Britain's tallest cathedral spire and quaint cobbled streets. We'll enjoy some free-time before returning to London where our memorable journey through Devon and Cornwall comes to an end.
