D. Walker and G. Fabregat, Castellon, Spain
We really had a wonderful holiday in Wales, each experience was unique. Travelling by train was very relaxing and Wales is a beautiful country. The service and pre-travel advice from adeo travel was spot on and very helpful. The information which we printed out was also very useful, in particular the directions to the hotels and points of interest about where to visit. We also found the train timetables to be brilliant. The rail passes were a time saver, and after having them stamped at Gatwick airport we were able to use them with ease. The accommodation was, in general very good, with the exception of the Orchard hotel, Paddington. The room was very small and difficult to move around in. The breakfast that was served was very basic with practically no choice and the coffee and Orange juices were of dreadful quality. St Bride’s hotel, Saundersfoot was wonderful, but we did find the evening meal to be very pricey in relation to quality of the food. The rooms in the spa and the views were spectacular, however. We absolutely loved Cardiff and The Maldron hotel was fabulous all round. The only other thing that I think could have been better was, if possible, not to travel by train (for a long distance) on a Sunday. The train from Tenby to Shrewsbury was packed and the journey seemed endless. I think it was due to limited services. Thanks once again for arranging such a wonderful holiday.
