Born in the popular farming county of Somerset in the heart of the English West Country, Shane moved to Cardiff, South Wales in 2013 to study, and after three years gained a BA in History from Cardiff University. Leaving behind Bridgwater and Europe’s largest annual illuminated carnival, Shane quickly established himself as a city lover in our exciting capital city. Living originally between London and the mesmerising South-West, Shane’s favourite Britain destinations range from the bustling English capital, to the quaint Minack Theatre hidden along the picturesque Cornish coast.
In his spare time, Shane thoroughly enjoys visiting the cinema, alongside attending home games at his local soccer team, Cardiff City. Shane also has a very keen interest in travel, and recently returned from a six-week road trip across the United States, visiting 18 states from the East and West coasts, to the Deep South. In the past, Shane has travelled around Scotland and the Highlands, visiting several lochs in addition to the breath-taking castles and cities. On other trips, Shane has also travelled to North Wales and the magnificent Snowdonia National Park, in between many stops at European/Middle-Eastern cities, both traditional or historic and modern metropolises.
